There are some interesting things going on with the concrete on our front steps. There is the dark triangle discoloration that is always there, and recently I noticed the spotting on the front of the steps (I think it's from the rain?). There is some patching on the concrete from the initial build, and I just noticed there is a chip off the right corner. I also noticed fibers coming out of the front of the steps, and I am wondering about the seam between the step and the porch.

I don't know when the concrete was poured, but the build didn't start till mid-summer 2024, so the concrete is pretty new. It looks a bit messy and inconsistent to my eye, but I'd like to get get input from experts to see if any of these things of concern that I need to get the builder to correct?

Concrete in general has lots of discolorations.

Should I be concerned about the patch and the seam here?
