Slim shaker cabinets

last year

I’m updating my kitchen and adding new cabinets in an area that previously had no cabinets. I am going to replace all the doors and draw fronts to match the new cabinet style which I’m thinking I want slim shaker (probably 1.25 or 1.5 inch frames not the micro shaker). The sample door I’ve been shown has a hard maple wood frame with an HDF panel which has the slim frame on the front of the door, but the back of the door has a wide 2.5 inch frame. Is it normal for slim shaker doors to look like traditional shaker doors on the reverse/inside?
