What color shingles? Help please

Considering Owens Corning Duration shingles in Teak or Black Sable (designer series). My house has grayish green siding(Arbor Blend) with stone accents. First two pics are house with current roof. 3rd pic Teak left/Black Sable right. 4th pic Teak. 5th pic Black Sable. Rendered pics at end.

I also worry about the varied colors/ checkerboard appearance of Owens Corning shingles from pics I’ve seen online. My contractor uses this brand exclusively and nothing is a solid color except onyx black which is too stark imo.

Wonder if the darker Black Sable will give it a more modern look and the Teak more rustic? Appreciate your opinions!

Black Sable is my opinion, but have the roofer grab a bundle of each and lay them out on YOUR roof. Never make a color selection from a sample board, especially a sample board on a comuter monitor............................

I love the look of the Teak with your siding and stone. Looks like a wood shingle, very natural.

The Blk Sable is too severe and looks too heavy. You already have a heavy looking roofline.

Agree the Black Sable looks harsh/severe. Do as millworkman suggested to see what you think. I completely agree with you regarding shingles that are variegated with a “busy“ look. Also, make sure the Teak doesn’t lean too rust-colored in person. It does appear to work with your stone.
