I have similar colored flooring. We painted our entire home with Behr Off White Ultra Scuff Defense Paint and Primer in one. We washed and rinsed all walls, ceilings, moldings and doors. We fixed all cracks and nail pops. We used top quality brushes and rollers and took our time. It came out beautiful, easy application, no dripping. Years later, our paint application still looks new. Scuffs come off with dish doap and water.

All the paint YouTubers say to carefully identify and consider the undertones when choosing an off-white paint for the walls, but they never seem to say what to do after identifying them.

And if you want your comment promptly deleted ask them to explain HOW and WHY a color can be assigned a static undertone.

Your floor will end up in the Yellow-Red to Yellow hue family range. Measurable, repeatable, quantifiable, plainly explainable hue family.

These are some of the most popular off-whites in order by hue family. If you get chips, put them in this exact order and you'll be able to see the gradation of hue families.

"Off-White" btw is also measurable, repeatable, quantifiable, plainly explainable.

Was toward White Dove but AI started telling me undertones might not work. Any tips are greatly appreciated.

AI's training data comes from bloggers, the same people making the videos. AI can't see color and it's not smarter than what's posted about color on the internet.

The only resource that's truly like talking to a legit color expert is Ask Iris. colorexpert.ai. She's in beta but getting better by the week. She'll be on a 3 week vacation starting 6/6/2025 but she'll be back.

Same hue family, yep.

I suggest pulling chips first, choose a top 3 or 5, then buy samples. Either from the store or Samplize.
