Best off-white for red oak floors

last year
last modified: last year

Having red oak floors refinished with red out and rustic beige stain. I'm imagining there's still going to be a bit of a pink undertone in the floor.

All the paint YouTubers say to carefully identify and consider the undertones when choosing an off-white paint for the walls, but they never seem to say what to do after identifying them. Given a light to medium tone wood floor with pink undertones, what undertone should I then be looking for in my off-white wall paint? Should it be a green/cool undertone to balance the pink? Or should it be a warm yellow to avoid contrast? I don't trust my eyes to discern by holding up samples.

Was toward White Dove but AI started telling me undertones might not work. Any tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
