I am renoavting my home and had intentions of removing a window from the living room to add a gas fireplace and create a space to mount our tv. Unfortunately our funds have depleted and this is no longer an option.

My dilemma is the living room is narrow and needs to allow for walking space into the kitchen and dining area: 3 walls have a window (the wall adjoining the stairwell has a peekaboo window), the wall adjoining the kitchen is off center to the living room, and the other viable options for a tv are in the corners of the exterior wall. We do not have furniture and can’t see the best long term design. Our tv is 60”, I am a minimalist and prefer less furniture, we are a family of 4 with large pets and hope for this space to be a comfy environment that invites relaxation from sitting on the floor to enjoying the furniture and view.
