No rain for two days, but we've got heavy dew in the mornings, so I'm still seeing spots and splotches on the blooms. I'm not looking forward to several days of humidity and temps well into the 90s. This is my third time to try this post. I hope it takes this time.

Fighting Fire - This shot was taken in the evening.

Faith That Moves Mountains - This pic was also taken yesterday at 7:30 p.m. Although an evergreen, it has fared better than many of my Emmerichs. All but this one and Forty Days and Forty Nights have puny fans.

White Ambrosia had its ffo this morning. It's as well-budded as it was in Nashville, with the best scape having 18 or more buds. The height is pretty good on this one too.

Rosie With a Ring also had its ffo today. It was of the last to be planted, so its scape are very short.

Perseus' Sandals X Jumping Jack Flash has the tallest scape in the garden so far. This bloom is on a 40-inch scape in the middle of its clump. Other scapes range from 37-18 inches. Great multiplying over the winter!

Judy's Jewel X Bubblegum Delicious #2 had its ffo today. Scapes are short on this semi-evergreen, but it has side branching on the scapes. There looks to be at least 18 buds on the best scape. It increased by two fans over the winter. The evergreen sister, which always had a few more buds in Nashville, has fewer buds here but increased in fans too.

Red Edition X The Ultimate Sacrifice is an evergreen that overwintered well. It's showing an increase in fans, and has the tallest scapes I've seen in three years. It started blooming about six days ago, but all the earlier blooms were horribly splotchy. This one is the most presentable so far.

$exy Samantha X Bubblegum Delicious had its ffo yesterday with these two blooms. I'm not sure if this one increased since I couldn't remember how many fans it had. In Nashville this semi-evergreen always had the tallest scapes and the best bud count of the siblings. That won't be true this time. The evergreen #2 has some side branching this time and is a little taller. The dormant sister more than doubled its fans. I'm not sure about bud count on that one, since it blooms later than the other two. The scapes are still growing on it.

I am again so impressed with how well these plants transplanted and are blooming. Most of them must like their new home! The seedlings are great as always. The Bubblegum Delicious seedling seems to have kept its good color. I’m glad White Ambrosia made the move-lovely as always. That Perseus’ Sandals seedling is quite tall. Is this the one that has flourished for Kay?

Kate - Yes, the Perseus Sandals seedling is the one that did so well for Kay. I'm just thrilled with how well the seedlings are doing, and I'm so happy some of the registered evergreens like White Ambrosia and Fancy Lace are doing.

I always love seeing $exy Samantha X Bubblegum Delicious and sisters. So pretty!! I also really like Perseus' Sandals X Jumping Jack Flash and Faith that Moves Mountains.

I agree with previous posts……so happy the transplants are doing so well. I moved quite a few daylilies last fall and find they are all blooming but most have shorter scapes.

It is great to hear SS X bubblegum seedlings are doing so well…..they are my favorites.

How nice. Debra, you know how much I like Perseus Sandals; its doing well is not surprising. I am blown away by Judy's Jewel X Bubblegum Delicious. What a delicious color!. No need to comment on fighting /fire as it has already rebloomed three times and is trying to do so again...drunk on water, I guess.

Your pink seedling is looking good.......... I'm not much on white daylilies, but the form on White Ambrosia with all those crimped edges is amazing..............Maryl

Maryl - The form on White Ambrosia is why I couldn't leave it behind. I'm so happy the plant habit on it is good here too.

debra - ffo stands for first flower open.

Kay - I'm glad you like the Judy's Jewel seedling. The color is marvelous, and the edge is fantastic. The first blooms were huge - 7.5 inches.

Sherry and Brad - I'm thrilled the $exy Samantha kids are doing well in more northern environment. They are all performing stronger here than $exy Sam.

It really is impressive how well your plants have adapted. Some that came to my place have done very well. Coco's Curiosity added a fan, and a couple others I know. Several lost fans, pink Aloha lost one of its two fans, but looks like it may be putting one back on. You may have had snow cover that helped make a difference. Fighting fire still has 2 fans, but looks very unhappy. Samantha c Bubblegum isy favorite, but just narrowly, they are just beautiful

Nice group. White Ambrosia is one I had to go look up. It looks like from the photo it has a tint of pink or maybe yellow or it could be my computer. Online photos on the NGA has variations but the descrip says ivory.

Julia - White Ambrosia shows more pink here than it did in Nashville. I would say ivory is good descrption of the color. Ivory is off white with yellowish or beige undertones.

Nancy G. - I'm glad you got an increase on Coco's Curiosity. Maybe Fighting Fire will improve once it's better established. It's one that looks puny here and has very short scapes, but I didn't get it planted until the end of October.
