Are you going to remove the other items and use the space as a dining room or do you need for it to stay multifunctional? can you stand back and take a picture of the whole room? - also a hint about your style coukd be helpfu there are so many choices

The high ceilings and arches are making me lean towards kind of Roman, but we have a lot of Chinese style in the house.

I recommend you only consider chandeliers that have 2 or 3 tiers since you have so much height.

The chandelier should be mounted about 36" above the top of your table.

I'd get a large spherical light - maybe huge paper lantern. A huge sphere would help take up some of the vastness of your ceiling space. Any chandelier too small or ornate is going to get lost in the space.

Between the contemporary architecture (nothing Roman about those arches and columns), vintage furniture, and Chinese style (not sure what that is - you have Chinese furniture, artwork?) your home is going to have an eclectic style. I find large paper light fixtures are great at bridging styles and eras.

Black hardware will pop nicely against your paint.
