When did they say your order will be done and delivered? We ordered just a hood and it coming from N.A.C. cabinets. I don't know how long it will be until it is made and delivered. Our install date is for around the first week in August.It was ordered the first part of May. I figure it will be around 10 to 11 weeks from order to delivery not install. It is Cafe series stock stain color. Can you tell me which wood and stain you are getting. My hood will be the white oak and Comfort Gray stain. The sample piece I saw it wasn't very gray more brown.

Have you forgotten that the US picked a fight with Canada and has mixed up the importing process for both sides? They have issues getting raw materials, and we have issues getting finished goods. Never mind the huge price increases. A supplier today literally just doubled the cost on a material we use frequently here. Retroactively, for any orders anywhere in the system. Not just new orders.

@Monique I know that prior to the actual order the 25% tariff increase was going to be split with us paying 10% and the company was going to eat 15%, but then the tariff was taken away so it was deleted. I know nothing about delays which is WHY Im asking about the lead times. However, we renovated our house during covid and didnt have this problem which IMO Covid was worse for getting supplies. The other reason Im asking is because I believe the cabinet company has delayed this order by 6+ weeks due to sloppy management of our order. I was told the once the order is put in our price will not change.

I am trying to compare this to when my order was placed. My order with them and a whole kitchen cabinet order were placed together at the same time and will be shipped at the same time. I haven't been sent anything about delays. It did take a while to get a confirmation of when we would receive the hood. You placed your order in April so what date are they saying now for you to get your cabinets?

@robinleva I had a meeting ladt werk with local cabinet company and was told our current lead time is 9-12 weeks. We were 11 weeks in already as our order was placed April 15. Based on her statement, that means we can expect our cabinets in 21-24 weeks from order date!!!

Just an FYI. April 15th may have been your order date, but please know that in some cases, that doesn't necessarily mean that's the date the order was submitted. Sometimes it can take 1-3 days to get an order in....and then the factory acknowledgment usually doesn't arrive for 1-3 days. Then if there are any changes or additions to the order, a new acknowledgment must be sent. Typically, with cabinet manufacturers, the start day of the lead time is when the factory acknowledgment is final. I always tell my clients to add 5 business days to the lead time to account for this.

@The Kitchen Place I wouldn’t mind 5 or even 10 days…but I was told time frame was 12-14 weeks and now at 12 weeks I’m told 9 to 12 more weeks! That means based on that info in reality it will be 21 -24 weeks total! Do you sell NAC? If so, what is your typical run tume? We’re using stock paint and stain colors.

That is extreme. Sounds to me like MAYBE someone forgot to place the order? Or like someone said previously, it could have to do with the tariffs? I'd place my bet that your order got lost or forgotten. Or they THOUGHT they submitted, but didn't.
