Where are they made, and do they use Breton technology? They are an obvious rename of some non name brand knockoff.

The deliberately obfuscate the origin and production methods. Somewhere in China or Vietnam, without using the patented Breton system that the higher quality manufacturers use, would be the obvious guess. Avoid these kinds of companies that aren't transparent about that. Avoid the knockoffs all together.

Cambria and Ceasarstone, yes. MSI is another problem child. It's popular, but it also has most of the issues that arise. And they don't tell you which ones are which on the Breton.

Jennifer: Engineered stone is virtually all the same stuff, no matter what the brands tell you. The finish on the Vietnamese estone slabs at Coverings was second to none.
