What is the purpose of adding random openings to the wall on the right?

This space would be great as is.

The space is great so you can do an invisble doorway but they are expensive IMO just paint it the same as the walls and carry on. As for the TV this is mainly a TV space so get a big one and enjoy . . Get some solar shades on those windows to cut glare and arrange the furniture to face the TV I for sure would not add more windows . Frame TVs are silly now you ca just run photos on any TV so do that if you must. can even have FP in the winter on the screen I would suggest no sectional seating but sofas and chairs that can be rearranged according to what is needed for different occasions. As for the actual furniture and colors that will be you decision since we have no real idea of your style and your needs for seating. How many seats how do you use the bar area and how does that relate to the TV space for entertaining. Only you can answer those questions then maybe we can offer better help . I suggest for your own help do the plan to scale find furniture you like whreever then use the same scale to cut out pieces to arrange for the space that is what I do often when woking with clients so you get a real feel for the layout.

I have a wall in my bedroom that is 12" wide and has three doors that lead to closet/storage spaces. I was thinking of ways to make this wall less busy and ran into this video. I have not made a final decision on what to do with my wall, but this is my top option at this moment.

This may not be possible but we thought we would ask anyway. Is there a chance that you can put two 5' windows in instead of the 3'6" and 2' (separate) windows on one side and the 5' on the other side? It would make the room easier for furniture placement and balance it out as well.

The windows are all existing windows as seen in the layout, we are not adding any additional ones. The photo does not depict it clearly as some are covered due to the ongoing work there. It is hard to change windows due to city permit process so we prefer to keep them as it is. The large window facing the backyard is getting converted to patio doors.

Just looking for some initial ideas on space planning; designing the wall that has the TV and door to the bedroom. Understand it is too early to start picking colors, materials or furniture.

@Mae Day: the wall behind TV has a bedroom so can't have windows there.

If you had not made the changes to the room you could have done this.

You can keep windows on the outside and just drywall over them on the inside.
