Can I mix metals in a bathroom?

I am remodeling my master bath. I am using matte black hardware all around, floor tile is very light taupey white, shower tile is white double herringbone and cabinets are medium to dark taupe. It appears to me the black hardware on the cabinets gets lost. I was thinking mabe using brass or antique brass cabinet pulls. Please comment if this is a mistake. I also considered glass pulls but they also seem to get lost. The contractors are working on it now and cabinets are under drop cloths or I would sent photos. Help, not sure which way to go.

The space in the far right corner will be the shower with white double herringbone tile white quartze counters with faint veining. The faucets, hardware door handles etc will be matte black. what color cabinet hardware?

???????? we need pics and IMO matte black in a place where water is always an issue is a bad choice I aslo think too many grout lines in a shower are a big nono From what you describle chrome would have been my choice so now maybe find chrome and black handles .

you refer to things getting lost, sometimes blending in is a good thing, a bathroom isn't large enough to highlight every detail.

Think of all the black dots around the room in an otherwise tranquil Taupe and White Spa. Polished Chrome in a bathroom is classic. It's the shine and fresh you need.

Brass hardware would be great on that Taupe vanity base.

What does matte black hardware all around mean? Where else do you need hardware?

Frameless mirrors? what light fixtures? Black is too contrasting and no shine.

Brass everywhere. Polished Chrome in the shower for clean/fresh.
