Most people here will say to live in it for a while before making big changes, so you learn what works and doesn't work.

Need a floor plan so we can see everything in relation to the whole house. I feel your now sink window is too big. Also changing out the bay window will help as well.

reason to remodel is bigger space. i know you had mentioned the size of the kitchen as big, but for my family it is not.

my husband and constantly run into eachother cooking. when hosting people theres crowding and scooching and people can’t stand comfortably or with room to mingle. its crowded and awkward angles and that is why we want to open it up. i agree with the monster on ceiling that is on the list of to dos.

Unfortunately, these are not the measurements we need. We need measurements that measure actual walls/wall segments, windows, doors, doorways, and the distances between each wall, window. door, & doorway. The measurements in your pics are often hard to read or are lost in the myriad of other items listed as well don't always measure b/w the items listed above.

Here's a sample of what we need. Download free graph paper from the internet, measure the various walls/windows/doors/doorways, draw them on the graph paper, and then clearly (and darkly) label each. Remember that walls are not thin lines, they have actual depths/lengths - so be sure the thicknesses of the walls are accounted for where applicable.
