The heat is back so hope the rain comes later today. Blooms keep coming and I only have about 2 daylilies that haven't sent up scapes and 1 that will likely bloom by the end of the month. Boundless Beauty continues to do well with the openings after the first opening. Maybe it will stay where it is since it has shown to open okay now.Odd eh?

Allegheny Skyline - second planting had its FFOs Sunday. The main clump I divided from in the spring has not opened yet. Shorter scapes but I'm okay with that since it was divided in the spring. Lots of scapes and average buds.

Another planting of Tahiti Sweetie started its FFO on Sunday . It towers over nearby daylilies but the bee balm seems to be in height competition with it.

Deares Valentine showed a nice opening this morning between the balloon flowers. It is on the move list and I've already picked out the spot.

I've been trying to get pics of the butterflies and finally was able to this morning. We have several different ones .

Thats it for me. We wil see what tomorrow brings besides hot weather.
