Why would anyone want a kitchen sink as part of the island? I imagine they would say it's for convenience, but who would want to sit there and eat while looking at dirty, smelly dishes? Plus, islands are usually the first things you see when entering a kitchen or esp. with an open floor plan, so again, who wants to see dirty, smelly dishes. I just don't understand this, but keep seeing this done over and over.
