Hi, I have been getting mixed feedback about how to maintain an ipe deck. Some people said that IPE doesn't require any on-going maintenance and I should just let it gray. Others say that it needs annual staining. Here are photos of my ipe deck. This has been in place since 2008 and we haven't done anything to it. At this point, I think at a minimal, it needs a good cleaning. Does it need to be sanded, restained, or just a good oil application? If you have product recommendations, I would greatly appreciate it.
