Exterior Design Dilemma

siding project question

Hi again! We are starting our siding project and need some help. We now have a black roof instead of brown as shown in the photo and are doing white siding. Our two main questions are do we keep the shutters or eliminate them? Also do we keep the arches on the front patio or do we make them straight? Any and all advice welcome!

No shutters as they do look correct on 2-wide windows. Loose the scallop fascia as well, replace it with straight.

I like the scallops. They're a nice touch and add a bit of interest to a house that is pleasant and well-proportioned, but not exactly distinctive. I'd probably keep the shutters, too, but paint them a different color. Maybe navy.
