Wouldike to change Loft into a twin bed with space for dresser and vanity

this is my daughters room she wants to change things around but finding it hard with closet and size of room

Is there a bathroom she can use vs combining a bedroom with a makeup table?

Does she study, where?

She can use Vanity/as a Desk

Hi, Is it that she wants to remove the closet, whats behind it? what are the measurements of the bedroom. Are you looking to add an extra twin bed or just get rid of the bunk bed desk?

Can you post a little picture with measurements? How much space is there between the foot of the bed and the wall with the light switch?

I'd get a twin with drawers underneath that double as a dresser. Store the rest of the clothes in the closet and if possible, get a desk at the foot of the bed.

Replacing the closet door with a drape or pull-down shade would give more flexibility (no door swing). One possibility, assuming the room is 10x10 (2 squares = 1 foot); drawers under desk/vanity ends:

Armchair/table/lamp optional; could leave the door on the closet if they're omitted.

Why when what she has is perfect for that space . The closet door is a bit of a space hog so maybe in this case a pretty curain insted but I can see nothing really bad about the use of space in that room. A to scale foor plan showing what spaces are around ths one are always helpful too.

and move the drawer unit to a blank wall separate from the desktop?

refer to above schematic. Move desk/ makeup table to space allowed for the bed. Head of bed on wall currently taken by the desk, add two nightstands with deep drawers for clothing and good reading lamps. Most teens sit on their beds to use laptops for homework, etc. If the desk/makeup area is free of clutter 🤪 she can use that space for study as well. She needs a closet to hang clothes so the armchair and small table can be removed. She can change her bedding easily, have more headroom to get to desk and access the closet.

Also you can get bed frams with roll out drawers underneath for bulky sweatshirts, jeans and out of season clothes.

If you post a floor plan with showing all dimensions, doors & windows it would be easier to give you valuable suggestions.

Sell the bed unit and buy new furniture to fit the space.
