Building a Home Remodeling Design Dilemma

Fire Rated Class A Siding Recommendations please!

I am looking for product recommendations for Fire Rated ASTM E84 Class A flame spread (≤ 25) - Noncombustible Siding. Remodeling home in Colorado evergreen area. Inspiration of the look: High end recommendations - NOT interested in James Hardie Products. Have found Nichiha and EDCO. Thoughts? Please help!

If you are required to have Class A, you probably shouldn’t build there.

Siding is one part of fire protection. Distance of shrubs, trees and other combustibles is another part. You can build if you protect the structure.

Allura and Finex are cement board sources used in Colorado, similar to Nichiha. You'll need to choose the product with the aesthetics you want for your house. Steel transfers heat.

Steel siding is usually considered Class A Cement board like Hardie also.

Obviously stone on the exterior would work
