Wallpaper just on that sticking out portion. Either add a white molding vertically from ceiling to floor that touches the upstairs white trim under the railing, or wallpaper all the way to the right corner under the upstairs walkway.

No patterned wallpaper. A wall printed mural yes.

The problem with most wallpaper is that it's rotary printed which means the pattern will repeat often on a wall that large in size.

If you select a wall mural the scale will be larger and it will fit the size of your room better

There are lots to choose from on Etsy and some of the companies can scale the mural to fit your wall exactly.

I built a frame wall.

I do not like decor on the walls with a TV at all. I would like to see the whole room though. Molding slapped on one wall in a home looks silly BTW. Maybe the right wallpaper but I accanot see the place for it to end that is perfect.

This is what we did in a similar situation. However your ceilings are much higher than ours…so the molding would probably be a better idea. Good luck!

As suggested moulding are a good idea and would give character to the wall. If you don't want to install mouldings a gallery wall could also be interesting.
