Last year one of my tomatoes failed and I tried to find something that would grow fast later in the season. I went to my local nursery and found Jaune Flamme. The description was almost exactly what I found on a seed site today:

"Beautiful, perfectly round, small 4-5 oz fruits are bright orange on the outside and often have a reddish blush in the flesh. Fruits hang in cherry tomato-like trusses on medium-sized very prolific plants with an open habit."

It sounded perfect, I got one tomato and planted it. Near the end of the season I had only one fruit and it was nothing like the description, instead it was quite large and yellow with deep flutes. I figured someone had mixed up the seeds.

This year I decided to try Jaune Flamme again since the description was so appealing. Once again I am getting very large fruits with deep fluting that ripen to a yellow orangish hue. Could they have made the same mistake two years in a row? It seems doubful. I'm attaching a photo from the internet showing JF and a photo of the first fruit I picked today.

Has anyone here grown Jaune Flamme? What did you get?
