Help! we bought a 1930s colonial in humid upstate NY 16 months ago. we have eliminated a LOT of mold smells. the windows outside had flashing put around the sills. water got in and left them moldy. we have replaced all outer window frames and are currently tearing off all siding. we still get the mildew smell coming through under windows inside after a rain storm or on humid days. before we reside, does anyone have any advice? where there was a roof leak, we’ve re-drywalled inside and replaced some of the wood on the outside. we sprayed with moldex and put up the tyvek. you can still smell the mold. we took out all insulation in these bays, will filling them help the issue?

we’ve gone crazy searching for the mold odors around our house. i have a sensitive nose and it is so upsetting to still smell them. any help is so appreciated.
