Wall Paneling Ideas

Hi - I am in need of living room redesign now that kids are a little older and can sort of clean up after themselves. I want to do a wall paneling to the main wall shown. What do you recommend that would be nice and classy but also simple...nothing too crazy and unique. Also, since the main wall connects to stairs, where would I end the paneling or would I have to continue it all the way the stairs? Thanks!

Is this a basement? We need to see all the walls. Post more pictures of the room. IMO opinion a BESTA system from IKEA might be better than panels

Hello - This is actually the main living room on first floor/ground floor. It is the "open concept" layout. Here are some more pictures for better idea. Thanks so much!

OK thanks for the additional pictures. I would say no to adding anting to that wall. There really isn't an end spot. You'd have to go all the way across the stairs. The TV is in a place where only 1 seat can see it. I would get the layout better before worrying about adding to the main wall.

Move the TV to the stair wall and hang it. Again, use BESTA pieces for a wide console under it. That will give you some storage, so you won't need the red piece. Place the love seat in front ow windows facing TV, now both seats can see the TV.
