Portico railing and finishing

looking doe suggestions on railing color and make this portico looks more rustic. should i match tge deck railing?

I do not understand the question. You do not have arustic house so what was the plan when this was decided? Might be the camera angle but that looks crooked . Are actually planning on going out there to sit ? I see what looks like a door to the roof of the portico but why?As for the railing yes to matching the deck

The portico needs to be painted or stained to work with the steps, stone and style of the house. Match railing color to the dark color you sustain or paint the portico. I do not see where front portico or railing and deck connect.

I would not go more rustic since it needs to mesh with the style of the home, if it were me I’d paint them out white to match the trim and add low key black iron handrails
