You don't show the wall next to the frig. A lyout of the whole level with all the rooms will get the best ideas.

Thank you for the layout. Now, what about it doesn’t work for your household? And what does work for your household? What are your needs? How do you cook, clean up, use the kitchen in other ways? How many people, ages?What is it you would like to change, what do you like?

Your bay windows lock you in quite a bit. If you are able to replace those windows and open up to the dining room, you’ll have a much more functional space. Here is a rough sketch of a layout that might work.

Put feet and inches to every wall, window opening and label pantry and what may be a powder room?

Add more jpegs, garage entry, and living room as well.
