Looking for some input regarding updating the front entry area. Right now it has the dates faux panel with applied molding and evidence from where previous trim covered brick that was removed with a residing project. As part of the overall project, a new front door will be done as well.

Some ideas I had are:
-shiplap siding either white, or ipe (or other natural color wood)
-Siding to match the rest of the siding
-Panels on the side, not faux like current but more elegant/contemporary.

Open to other ideas as well.
