reviews on Marvin Essential casement windows

Seriously considering purchasing Marvin Essential casement windows.
We love the look and low maintenance with the all fiberglass.
I've read some bad reviews about the performance of this window. The bottom of the window being cheap plastic and yellowing. Having lots of issues with leaks, and frosting.
Are the Essentials an entry level, piece of crap?
Are vinyl casements a better option?
Any thoughts about this window or better brands to look into?
I was looking at Marvin Elevate, but don't want to deal with the wood interior maintenance.

I have never found interior windows maintenance to be a huge issue. You are asking if you should go with a choice with bad reviews why would you do that? I do not love casement windows often I live in a really windy place and find them a bad choice . I have had vinyl windows for 18 yrs with not one issue so maybe that is a thing to consider . The best is to go and look at the choices that are possible in your budget .

I have Marvin windows and would not recommend them. I did not purchase them, the previous owner did, but I certainly would not replace with Marvin. They're drafty, they fog up under certain weather conditions, and the screens are garbage. And no, they're not old.

ETA: Mine are not the Essentials you're asking about, I'm just chiming in to advise against Marvin in general.

I am scheduled to have the Marvin Elevate with the wood interior being installed at our vacation home this fall. The installer always uses them and has no issues. It is in a cold mountain area in New York State. We are also installing a Marvin front door with a full window. Many people at our townhouse complex don’t have any issues with them. I’m just so happy we are getting them replaced.
