Master Bedroom Paint Color Suggestions

Our master bedroom has the following brown furniture and night stands, we also have 2 black wall lamps on either side of the bed, and our room is south facing. It is currently painted Benjamin Moore Collingwood but i find the color too beige and muted when the sun hits. It is a beautiful color in the morning before the sun is strong.

We want something cozy. I'm not afraid of dark colors either, our previous home we had white furniture and the room was painted Sherwin Williams Distance.

Would love your suggestions.

What bedding do you have? Usually the wall color is chosen from the bedding not the furniture.

@jck910 the bed frame/headboard is white but it is low so you don't see much of it. As for comforter and such, we will be purchasing a new one after

I guess if you're waiting to choose the bedding just choose a neutral cream color. Again there are thousands of paint colors so easier to have bedding first

If you want dark walls, pick a color you like, go ahead and paint your walls that color, then pick bedding to match, or co-ordinate with that color. Keep in mind, walls don't have to be extremely dark to be cozy.
