Paint Help - Sloped Ceilings, Multi-Level

Hello experts!

Things have come along a wee bit since my last post. We ended up bringing the dark hardwood flooring into the kitchen and dining and it looks fabulous!

Now on to the never-ending challenge of picking paint. We changed the walls from Revere Pewter to so many other colours that did not works so, we ended up going back to Revere Pewter and we are happy with it, with SW Pure White Cabinets.

In an attempt to keep things easy, we decided to paint both levels in RP but, in the sunken living room, it turns a putrid yellow green during the day and I can’t take it anymore.

In the photo you will see the challenge I am faced with. The ceiling line is sloped on both floors but but the living room is sunken. We have been trying to pick a colour to harmonize with Revere Pewyer but then the house looks split down the middle.

I’d love for some tips on how to deal with this. Please don’t mind the mess and random items and paint stripes. We haven’t pulled our decor together yet so please don’t judge us. I know our stuff doesn’t go together 😂

Thanks in advance !
