Hate chaise type sectionals always . That one truly is horrible you have 2 seats one where the person has to sit with their feet up have you sat on that sofa? A nice sofa in that style if you love it maybe . You need to lower theTV and a nice long low cabinet under it . I find no one really leans back in a stool so low backed is fine . I have no clue as to the window so I need pics of the actual space .

When I read your post, it sounded like you were looking for a console + fireplace.

You could find a fireplace (similar to the one posted in the first comment above - but smaller - that one is 72" long + is $700- 800 - not sure that you are looking to spend that much for this when you have several other items you want to purchase for your new apartment) + add a mantel over the fireplace.

You also could find a combination fireplace/console unit. When I initially thought about one of those, I was concerned that they only came in very traditional styles or farmhouse styles. However, I found some that are more transitional/contemporary:

I think you posted this living room recently. I get claustrophobic looking at it. I totally get small space living though. Just hang the TV lower. No need for anything else at all on that wall. Get side tables instead of a coffee table. Get a lighter color rug. Less is much more in this space.
