Turn the table for starters.

I think it will be difficult to have such a stylized base on your table and not use the matching chairs. If you no longer want the chairs, then sell off the complete set.

BTW I have noticed that all these furniture items that are imported have gone up dramatically so shop around. Tables that sold for about $650 are now posted for $1,200. It's terrible.

I am fond of these chairs from Amazon. They come in a few finishes and look to be comfortable. They will coordinate with a number of table bases because they are simple in design.
