Not sure you are approaching this design problem the right way. If this is a foyer, then shouldn't the combination be a bench, mirror and table?

Or select a much larger mirror to expand the space. These mirrors sold through Home Depot are fairly inexpensive for the size.

It looks too short to me. Unless you are able to switch out the legs to something taller (that doesn't look odd with the bench), I would look for something else.

When we build foyer benches, we make them no more than 16-18" high. If a customer likes to have some storage under, we make them about 20-21".

You'd be facing the mirror, console table and bench when you walk into the room.

That looks like an interior door on the right to me so I don't think this is a foyer. Looks like some kind of bonus room or home office since I see free weights on the floor and office furniture in the mirror.

That said, Beverly's idea to place the mirror and bench perpendicular to where they are now is a good one. The door will open freely and the focal point won't be behind the door, but instead be visible straight ahead.

Whether it's the entrance door or just an inside door in the picture it appears the bench interferes with the opening of the door on the right. If it doesn't, I have no problem placing everything where it is now on that back wall.

IMO if not for seating don't get it. I think it works well in an entry but the mirror does nothing there except reflect stuff not worth seeing twice .

What and where is this nook in your home? Where does the door lead?

Nothing wrong with the bench, but what is the purpose? If "decorative" it isn't that quite yet: )

As to height, it's probably just as below? They're all imports, all over everywhere and in as many colors as one than think of...

Provide more context as it is decorative AND useful in an entry, or a bedroom.....but needs MORE decor : )

Isn't seating height a standard? Unless you are getting a custom bench I think they are all this height. The issue is it blocks to doors swing. That won't work.

@arcy_gw Yes, it would make more sense to have that bench in front of the door, not on the side of it.

Thank you all. This is a home office, and I am trying to utilize things I have had stored for years, like the mirror. I chose the location of the mirror so I could see what I was wearing. The other wall didn't give me enough space to back up. The bench does block the door from completely opening, and I think its too low under the mirror so I will return it. Now w I have to find something under the mirror. Perhaps a narrow console table will work better.

I am in the process of redecorating this area. I have not put anything on the walls since I want to figure out furniture placement.

Bring some throw pillows to balance height.
