Adding a drawer to Kitchen cabinet

Hi! I want to add a drawer to the bottom of the kitchen cabinet. I have to remove the front piece and the. Install the rails. The corner pieces are holding that front piece. Ok to remove that front piece? Any thoughts? Doable? Any feedback is very much appreciated!! Thank you!!

The piece you circled in red is called toe-kick. It's doable but this is one of those cases of "if you have to ask,it's not a good idea".

Toe kick drawers became a popular idea many years ago. People use them to store baking sheets, step ladders, bottles of wine, table cloths, etc.

If you goggle "how to add a toe kick drawer" (or something similar), there are MANY videos that show how to do it.
