So many pretty blooms Pieter. I especially like the invincible blooms. Great color and a white edge, what a combo.

You guys have plenty of bloom, love that Silly strings show and Tickle me pink scape. My garden is kinda done with blooms for most part. I have few last ones going.

Sherry how do you control your chives?

Not sure what this one is, it lost its blue as season progressed, some Halcyon in it?

I do have one of my own getting ready

Scape is slightly disproportionate to the plant but dark read. We will see what I can do next year with this one.

Lindalana, are you referring to my Millenium allium? This variety is considered sterile. I have not experienced any ”volunteer ” plants. This is the only allium I grow. The spring blooming allium were a maintenance nightmare for me, so many seedlings to cull.

Yes, forgot about them, never had fall blooming ones. Might be a good one to add to protect from deer and rest of scavengers.

I love seeing my hostas bloom. The deer like them more. They tend to leave the June hostas alone since they are close to the house. I was wondering does they allium deter the deer at all from munching on the hostas?

Laurie, love the blooms on Rubies and Ruffles, such a saturated purple.

I think it is first time I see Sting bloom. Cute!

I do not know how much alliums help but they sure are not attractive for deer. I plant marigold, mint, alliums mostly because I like them though. Mint goes into huge tabs on perimeter of property. Supposed help with mosquitoes too. I get fresh leaves for garnish and tea.
