Need help with front porch paint ideas - lighter and brighter

Hey all - we just bought this 80s home. I'm so excited to sit on this front porch but I'd love to brighten it up a bit. Because of how it sits, and the trees in front, it's already shaded. I'd like to bring in some lighter colors but I'm not exactly sure what colors. I'm not a fan of white, especially with the brick colors. I'd do white on the ceiling instead of red, but what would go well on the front with this brick?

I'd do a warm cream on the ceiling and see how much brighter the porch is. You could take off your shutters. If the yellow is your only siding, I'd consider painting it a warm cream. You could paint the door a brighter color.

However, it's worth noting that so many pictures these days are photo-shopped or done by AI, both of which lighten porches artificially. Photo-shopping in warm lights in your windows under the porch will brighten everything up. You only set yourself up for disappointment if you expect to achieve a look that can only be achieved by a computer-generated image.

Yeah, I definitely understand AI gives false images. I'll start with the ceiling to brighten it up and think on the beige siding.
