The blight doesn't seem bad. You can look up on line how to deal with it. Probably, pruning, good care and fungicide would at least knock it back. Make sure you sanitize your pruners between plants --- rubbing alcohol can be effective.

Don't prune it. This opens up wounds and helps it spread.

Here in Virginia, once the blight appears on a plant, the recommendation is to completely remove the shrub and double bag or burn the plant. There is at present no way to cure the plant and blight is very contagious. Pruning will not save the plant and once the blight is present, the plant will eventually die. Very sad, but get rid of them as quickly as possible.

Ugh. Thank you. I came across this recommendation in my reading, too. Awful to think any attempt to aid the plants would be futile and that the situation is hopeless! It will be a significant undertaking in time, energy and cost if I remove each affected plant Also, if the fungus can linger in the soil for years after an affected plant is removed, perhaps quick replacement is not a good option. Add to this that we are in a deer prevalent area and boxwoods are among the few deer-resistant options we have.

I certainly would not replace with more boxwood.
