Help us decide what size mirrors to use

Unfortunately the bathroom is too narrow (7.5' x 8') to take a proper picture. The vanity is on one side and the toilet and tub are on the other. I spent about an hour this morning "drawing" our situation in excel. I think overall I did a decent job, though I think the pics with the 24" wide mirrors is closer to scale.

Anyway, we have a wall to wall dual sink vanity and are deciding between two mirror widths (24" or 30") and two mirror heights (36" or 40"). We have each combination, so four mirrors in total. Relevant sizes for the cabinets and the walls are listed. Note that we actually have three 15" drawer cabinets but a 1" filler gives us 16" on each side. Another note is that my wife is 5' even in shoes, so we want to start the mirrors as close to the backsplash as reasonable (without it looking bad).

In terms of the overall space, the tub is about 30" so considering the 21" cabs we have about a 3' walkway in between the tub/toilet side and the vanity side.

Finally, we are somewhat concerned with wall space, so we are definitely considering wall ornaments or other feature of some kind. Too late for powered sconces but we are okay with battery powered as light in the room is not an issue. They would be mostly for decoration anyway, so other types of ornaments are okay as well.

This is what I did with my master bathroom. I have taller ceilings and used 24x48 recessed medicine cabinets. The mirrors are 8" above the counter to make sure the medicine cabinet doors would clear the faucet.

I would go with the 24x40 for your bathroom. Do a shorter backsplash to give some more space between the backsplash and bottom of mirrors.

Wall ornaments? Nothing wrong with some blank space, so don't add stuff without a good reason. Once you add towels, toiletries, etc you will have enough going on.

A whole lot easier, a whole lot brighter bigger effect, and a lot more sparkle. FRAMED!!!

You can decide the height of the splash to as minimal as 2"..and leave a gap for the mrs, or not!

Do not confuse the finished look of FRAMED with junk builder slapped on a wall: ) Match to your cabinet finish for frame, or painted and accent

No wall accents required! Not every bath demands two separate mirrors....no matter how you light that mirror

If you select individual mirrors I'd choose medicine cabinets.

No one can find anything when you're looking down into drawers. Besides the drawers are needed for the vast amount of electrical grooming tools we all have in bathrooms.

They seem to have the widest selection of style at RH. Maybe there is a dupe out there that imports them besides RH

Agree. I dislike the two small, fussy mirrors with three lights. I'll vote for one large framed mirror every time. It gives you a large view of yourself so you can see your outfit /not just your face. It also brightens up the room.

I'd also vote for one nicely-appointed sink in the middle, which would allow each spouse a huge 36" drawer stack.
