I'd pull the rug out away from the windows a bit

Center the rug on the fireplace.

I want keep the blue chairs and put them where the red are. I chose red to pick up the color in the existing couch, pillows, and the area rug.

I wish I could get another sofa that matches, but they no longer make that design.
