Suggestions on quartz that go nice with a navy vanity (48")

*Answers to questions - I definitely want Quartz. This is for my primary bathroom. My vanity will be shaker style just like the picture below from the cabinet installer. I'm using polished chrome, I love it! This is my current builder grade bathroom. I'm using a 12 x 24" tile for floor from Home Depot called Daltile Parchment. You can see it underneath the Bianco Laguna Picture. I've decided on a 4x12" pale gray subway tile for shower. It's easy to clean with epoxy grout. I like the vertical layout. The current tub will be pulled out and tile and a low-profile Kohler pan will be installed with Shower bypass doors. The walls will be some type of shade of white to brighten up the area. The pvc shutter will stay. Mirror and overhead light are going. I will do a wall hung mirrored medicine cabinet. I will need it with all the products my 18-year-old daughter has. Can lights to be installed over shower and sink. I'm going for functionality with this bathroom rather than high end design.

I was hoping to find a nice suggestion for a quartz countertop with all my grays I have going on.

This first one that was suggested to me by cabinet installer is too dramatic (for me) and would be a better choice in a big kitchen, but not for my bath. That is the color of my vanity I'm using.

This second one I was looking at it is actually blue, but the photo is not very good. It's so hard to tell unless I see a large piece of it and they do not have any remnants available right now.

This picture is the same Bianco Laguna, but showing a LOT more veining which now I don't like. I do understand every piece is different and I would have to see each slab to determine if I would like it.

Can anyone offer some name suggestions that I may look into online?

Cambria White Cliff is another simple white quartz to consider

I have to say in advance: I am not a quartz expert. But personally, if I wanted a marble look, I would use Formica Calacatta Cava.

I would look at remnants in stone yards. You’re looking for a very small piece, considering the size of the slabs. When I redid the broken marble on a Victorian piece I’ve owned for decades, I found a REALLY stunning remnant. Definitely couldn’t afford it for my kitchen but it spruced up my antique beautifully.

My DD just redid her kitchen and master bath. She used navy cabinets and a white quartz with speckles, some of them mica. Looks nice and clean in her house.

That’s really beautiful, @RedRyder . Nice find on that remnant.

And the remnant is a great idea. I don‘t know if OP just wants quartz for the vanity because of easier care, versus actual marble.

In any case, personally, if I wanted marble look for a vanity counter, I would use actual marble or alternatively the Formica Calacatta Cava. To me, the Formica Calacatta Cava is a much more realistic marble look than anything I have seen in quartz.

What are you using for the floor? Is this for a full bathroom or a powder room? If it's a powder room - you can do something that is a lot bolder than you'd do if it was your primary bathroom (or other full bathroom). Powder rooms are fun to design!

If you have any other selections made (other than the blue vanity), please share them with us. We can't offer good advice without knowing what else will be in the room.

How about a nice classic white quartz countertop. I chose a white quartz countertop (remnant piece at a great cost savings) for my charcoal vanity in my laundry / bathroom. It is white Thassos Pental Quartz. It does not stain, scratch, or chip; easy clean up with dish soap and water.

I have no idea without seeing the whole space . That is the floors the shower tile for sure and even the style of the vanity. You do not do a space one item at a time .

Plain white unless you can tell us a reason not to? It's a48" vanity! By the time you put a sink in it?

What's the floor, what if anything else is in the room, as in shower, tub tile etc?

Keep in mind that no matter how "dramatic" a slab can be; when it's a small piece, all the drama dies down. If you sink is centered, there only about 12 to 15 inches of counter material to see the pattern..

Got to a stone yard /remnant area as you do NOT want to be stuck buying a full slab! Look for a white quartz with faint and "fairy like" veins. You will find a piece in remnants, LOCAL to you.

Take your flooring and tile samples WITH . You will find yourself outside in their back forty: ) Pick a rain free day.
