We have a sliding door that our neighbors cat put claw holes in. Its a Marvin Elevate door with their "Bright View" screen which is charcoal fiberglass mesh. It was virtually invisible- I never appreciated it until it got holes in it lol. We've now re-screened it twice and each time the replacement screen has been cloudy with a noticeable glare when the sun is out. We used screens that called themselves "clear view" and ones that say they are invisible, when they clearly are not (no pun intended).

Our sliding door dealer said that Marvin does not sell *just* the Bright View screens to homeowners. They said my only option was to buy a whole new screen door, which seems like a huge waste to me ($350+ with delivery).

Does anyone know where to get Bright View screen only or know of a screen that is comparable and really invisible? We can rescreen our own door.
