Have you seen the samples in person? or are you choosing from an online image?

It's just a method of camouflage. From a distance you likely won't be able to see the two fibers.

The carpet is polyester. Look for a nylon carpet if you want longer life.

Also...we are replacing the contractor grade carpet that came with the house which is pretty flat and lameful but has lasted over 20 years and still looks good. Stainmaster comes in like level height I, II and III. I am assuming our carpet being contractor level probably is less that the stainmaster level I.....should we go II or III. There is a difference in price as you go up. Would you think level II as decent ??? And would last another 20 ?

Yes level II is decent and it will last more than 20 years.

Carpet or any other flooring has to work well with the wall color, furnishings, cabinetry, trim . . . We can't tell you what we think will work in your rooms without seeing pictures of the rooms.

remember if you get a more plush carpet than what you have now, the doors will have to be trimmed off.
