I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the width of your artwork, and I’d overlook the unevenness of the tabletop. I’d suggest either replacing the current art with something taller or adding another piece above it. Your arrangement is fine, but the lamp is nearly as tall as the art, which throws off the proportions. There’s also too much space between the artwork and the ceiling, in my opinion.

You may be able to keep the art...I love it, your console and how you used the lamp and candles. There is a default number of inches from the floor ( 57/60") which is the average eye level for a comfortable viewing. Keep in mind art is for the viewer and doesn't fall into "fill the space"

Your art looks lower on my screen and you maybe taller than average. So, hang the art so you are looking straight at it.

If the hanging is correct, try wallpapering that wall. Visually, it will fill in the blanks.

I don’t think that is the best spot for that table. The edges look very aggressive. If I had to have a table there, I’d find a demilune table.

Keep the art. Hang a small ledge beneath it if you must. But that table does not look right there. It is too bulky and anything you place on it gets lost.

I’m on the ”remove the table” team.

Our former home had 12’ ceilings. We placed art high to accentuate the height knowing doing so was contrary to established placement. Also kept out-of-reach from grandchildren LOL.

Doesn’t look like the table is centered on the wall.

The console is too wide for that wall as the sharp corners extend into the walkways. I can imagine ankle bruises from bumping into it or the table decor falling off after being bumped.

Consider just a large piece of art there.
