Suggestions for finishing this wall

I need help styling this wall. The basics are in place with the console and TV, but it looks incomplete. I lean toward a more minimal look, so I don't want a gallery wall or a lot of things on the console. But it definitely needs to be warmed up and finished. I'm having trouble knowing what to put on either side of the console. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Put the green plant on a high stand so you show the whole plant. Or do what Beverly shows in her first photo.

My daughter had a similar arrangement…on the left she added a floor lamp (try moving yours there) and a basket with a neutral throw filing, the corner perfectly. On the other side, she used a tall plant which helped create a nice balance. If you decide on a plant, try moving your chair down and add a small table, which will make it feel more incorporated and person sitting there will feel more included.

There is no need to add anything on the wall, but you could remove the small items. If you feel it needs something, test a few ideas: a long clay bowl centeted under tv or on one side layer a few design books (I bought this book for my daughter, if interested).

I would add a floor lamp in the left corner with a rectangle mirror on wall behind it.

I love all these ideas! What would be the right height for a plant on the side? Should it be the same height as the TV? Taller? Or shorter?

What about trying a tall plant on either side? You could even do some small baskets. Please see this design of ours below:

Don't worry about how high the plant is. It is going to grow. Just get it up off the ground enough so you can see it beyond the chair. Or get a nice potted tree for that space instead.

Here is the rest of the room. I'd love to have suggestions on how to complete it!

Coffee table and end tables with table lamps will add warmth to the room

I'm all for minimal, but I feel a place hollering for warmth. Warmth doesn't mean overloaded or cluttered.

It means texture, some change in materials, soft, hard, smooth not smooth. Iron , wood, glass ... not all one or the other.

Lamps are "jewelry", whether they are pottery, glass, or marble!

    I'll be baaaaaaaack : )

In addition to a live plant,

    1. A much larger round lamp table between the sofas.

    2. Art over the fireplace instead of mirror.

    3. Some color--colorful throw pillows on the sofas.

    4, Texture--woven wood/bamboo/reed shades on the windows.

    5. Lamps instead of recessed lighting, which is cold and harsh in a living room.

    6. Something on the wall to the right of the doorway in the last photo.

^^^ Yes to all of that! That little drink table needs a bump in size to a 24" x 24 inch round or square and sofa arm, height 24/26.

After that, it's texture, some extra contrast.....and layers of your neutrals.

I very much like the first photo that BeverlyFLAdeziner posted with the plant and sculpture. It's minimal but does add some much needed color and texture.

I've been thinking about getting this dark wood coffee table, but I don't know how to pair it with end tables. Any suggestions for type or color for end tables?
