Where is the vinyl what room is thefloor being replaced ? I need more info please and some pics of the spaces too. All posted here in a comment in jpeg format

This is my kitchen floor. I'm wanting to replace the carpet in the living room to hardwood floors..You walk directly from the kitchen to the living room and would like them to blend.

I actually put all of that information and a link to the picture in my first post. There was no attachment icon to share the picture, so I made a link through my google photos.
Hopefully this post will give you more insight of what I'm wanting.

Any assistance that you could give me would be appreciated. I've purchase my childhood home out of probate and trying to upgrade. My grandson is autistic as well as asthmatic, and I'm looking to replace the carpet as soon as I can find an affordable flooring. I just dont want it to be a drastic transition from one room to another, if that makes sense. Thank you in advance.
