Add a pic of your kitchen in the comment section. Is the layout changing, add drawings too.

I would not do three different colors on the cabinets, even sight unseen I can tell it will not work. One top for all as well.

Are just painting what you have or ripping everything out? Getting rid of the soffit?

Do one color for the cabinets - same color uppers and lowers. If you want a different cabinet color, use it on the island. If you use two different cabinet colors, use the same counter everywhere.

Your floors are really beautiful. I'd stay away from sand as it might be hard to find the right color to mesh with your floors. Slate, cream, moss. Any of these colors would look good in here.

What does that mean?

It looks like you are getting all new cabinets. If so, I would change the layout so that the DW is not in the main prep zone in between the sink and the range.

Can the range move to the wall where the fridge is shown and the fridge move to the window wall to the right of the DW? Trash p/o to the left of the sink. A narrow pantry could go between the fridge and the wall so fridge door has room to open fully.
