Discontinued is what it is. No one keeps a line but maybe a couple of years of production.

You will never ever match 40 year old material, even if you somehow found it. Age and color change is a fact of life.

Show photos of the bathrooms. I’m sure there is more in them than just flooring/ counters, cabinets, etc

Go into SW and BM. Collect as many of the sample cards as you feel are a close match. Compare them at home and head back for more.

Agreed that knowing the names is not important. Grab all kinds of tiny samples from BM or SW. Bring them home and narrow it down to a few. Then purchase Samplize large swatches of them to try out. Move them around the room and be sure you are using bulbs that you like and look good in the room!

I too am going to be paintins a 90's tiled bathroom and am up against the same. Your tiles are much nicer looking than mine!

You should be able to select colors to go with your existing tile that is in place. You shouldn't need more info. on the tile itself.

Names are arbitrary and unimportant. Something gets labeled one thing for one market, and another for another market. Or the retailer makes up their own name. Focus on what IS. Take pictures of these elements against a white sheet of paper. That's where you start. SW's Color Snap can be helpful in pulling out colors.
