How much office space do you really need? Do you need a full "U" shaped area. I like using an "L" for crafting and working at my desk because you can spread out close at hand. The U shape would fill the whole room. It seems like a set you can add onto so I would start with the desk and the "L" extension because the "L" can be used separately then go from there if you feel you need more.

Thank you for responding. I have updated the post with photos of the space. This is a small studio we had built in our backyard. It has two rooms - one that serves as a place to store yard supplies and sporting equipment and the other will be an office for my husband. There will be 2 monitors. A lot of storage isn’t necessary but I like to maximize on storage and want to make the space feel welcoming and cozy.

I am starting to lean towards the single large desk. Any suggestions for a room layout and any for other pieces to complete the room? How would a console table behind the desk with artwork above look?

The dimensions of the furniture are very tiny, but if I'm reading it correctly, the desk is 26" deep not 36". Which gives more room to move around.

I would not buy a 26" deep desk .....unless I planned to shove it up against a solid wall. Nope!. It's writing table dimension: ) and not sufficient work space.

It will e a thousand trips around to retrieve whatever flew off the back side. Including the coffee mug !?

Will the furniture you are leaning toward actully function well for your husband? 26" does seem rather narrow for a desk but if the primary purpose of the desk is to hold monitors then perhaps it will work well enough for him.
