You need to show all 4 walls of both rooms. Add more pictures. I would start with a rug

Definitely need a photo of the dining room! What does “decor” include? Paint? Window treatments? Rug(s)? Furniture?

Can you add more images of the space? Right not it looks like you need a textured rug under the sectional, artwork on the walls, and some C-tables on either side of the sectional. Add plants if possible as well to make the space feel alive. We've included a few designs of ours below to show how a rug will help ground the space, side tables can be an easy way to put stuff on either side without a coffee table, and plants and artwork help liven up the space.
