We carved out an 8' x 6' area in our basement to house our modest wine collection. The shelving is chrome, commercial, restaurant wine racks that can be taken apart and moved or reconfigured. There is no climate control system, but the area stays pretty consistently around 60 degrees. The walls are sheetrock installed, but not taped - just painted flat black. Easy weekend project.
