What do you mean by "base boards"? Are you asking about toe kicks or the base trim in the kitchen where there are no cabinets?

Baseboard trim for whole house.

This is the color it is now but kitchen is black……go white or black with trim.

Wall color is not yellow…just showed like that in picture.

It might be easier if you post what the adjacent rooms look like. Since there's a door just outside the kitchen with looks like black hardware and wood trim. What is the design style you're going for? Without seeing the rest of the spaces, I might be inclined to do all the baseboards and door trims white, since there doesn't appear to be any crown moulding to contend with. Just the kitchen cabinets and their toe kick in black.

No need to change the house trim. But if you want to , then I would go with white

I would not let the kitchen cabinet color dictate base trim in the balance of the home.

To lose the yellow change the bulbs to LED 4000K as for the trim white for the whole house the cabinet color does not dictate trim color Nor sure the reason for the black at all
