The window in the primary is a given, is it a ground level or on the second floor?

What is on the kitchen wall that separates the bathroom walls? How high is the ceiling in the kitchen?

Both spaces are currently gutted down to just studs at this point. We were going to take space from the hallway bathroom to make the master bigger. Same with the current closets in the master. We are moving them to another wall.

I attached the old floor plan and pictures of what the master used to look like. These bathrooms are in the second floor, as the house is a split. On that wall that separates the kitchen and bathrooms will be a range and fridge, as that is currently under construction too. The ceiling height is 8 feet

without much thinking about this, I would put the shower and Tub/shower on the Kitchen wall so you can get the largest you can fit. (The kitchen side with the back to the shower/water source could give you a kitchen/refrig. water source for water and ice)

on the second floor, you could add Sun Tubes for additional natural light in both bathrooms.

Even in a total reno, keeping the water/plumbing in the existing location is easier on the budget and allows for upgrades on the finishes.

So all the plumbing in the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry are going to be all new (different story). So we can move the water sources, drains, waste lines, etc to essentially anywhere in both bathrooms as they are truly blank slates. Thats why I’m trying to figure out what layout/s would fit best for both.
